.Ira Finegold MD, is a Nationally and Internationally known allergist/immunologist of distinction. He is a graduate of the University Of Chicago School Of Medicine with MD Honors, and MS in Pathology. He is Board Certified in Allergy and Immunology and Internal Medicine. He practices Allergy in Manhattan and White Plains, NY. He is the Chief of Allergy at St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital and a Clinical Professor of Medicine at Columbia University, in New York. He is a Past President of the American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology, a Fellow of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology, and a Fellow of the American College of Physicians. Honors: Sheard-Sandford Award, PBK, AOA, Sigma Xi, Distinguished Fellow, Living Lecture Celebrant, Top Doctors, Best Doctors Awards.
He has published many articles and chapters in textbooks on allergic subjects. He also teaches at Sophie Davis School of Medicine, CUNY, N.Y., as well being an invited lecturer both nationally and internationally.
